OK so this is a UK forum but many of the visitors we get from the UK cannot tell the difference. (I'm English anyway!! and will be returning to live in North Yorkshire this year so...)
Almost all wildlife interests me, especially birds, mammals, trees, plants, insects, fish....errr everything I guess.
I've worked as a countryside ranger in the UK, I'm in the Irish equivillant of the RSPB (Birdwatch Ireland http://www.birdwatchireland.ie) and help run the West Cork branch I run birdwatching outings and do winter wader counts for IWEBS surveys. I'm also a tour guide and sometimes take people on guided holidays for http://www.southwestwalksireland.com. I'm one of only six hedgelayers in Ireland and have many other interests. (http://davidwperry.blogspot.com). I've also been lucky enough to visit the worlds most remote Island.
