Red Kite yesterday and a cracking Osprey on my local patch today! The advantage of having a two year old girl who ets up at 0630 every morning, is that it forces you out into the field!

Great to see the Osprey Icon_smile i have some shots of an Osprey at Rutland Water that im well chuffed with Icon_smile

You need to clean your sensor mate Icon_wink has a couple of dust bunnies on it Icon_smile
Yeah, i know, its got auto sensor cleaning on it but doesnt seem to do the trick. Any ideas?
Beautiful bird! You've had a couple of great days Icon_biggrin

As for cleaning the sensor, I think you need some compressed air, but I don't know how you would do it. You could just photoshop the dust it out it you have photoshop, although that would get a bit tedious if you had lots of photos.
Nice work Paul, we only get the odd sighting of Ospreys on Mull and none this year as of yet.
Regards cleaning the sensor, i use the 'Green Clean' system which uses compressed air but not blown directly onto the (if use directly onthe sensot the dust can get stuck in the little gaps) my system works like a little hoover, that you hold just above the sensor and sucks up all the bits of dust.

Have a read through this one mate Icon_smile http://www.copperhillimages.com/

There are several ways to do it, but need to be very careful that you dont scratch the sensor ! They cost about 200 quid to replace ! Another way is if you have a pro camera shop near you they will usually clean it for about 30 quid (ish)

Hope that helps Icon_smile

Sorted it thanks chaps. I just used the Manual sensor cleaning button and gave it a blast of air. All clean now. Cheers.
