Amazing island from nothing

I stumbled across this page the other day, it looks genuine! A boat in the Pacific came across floating sand......well I'll let you have a look at it. I thought it was amazing Icon_biggrin

It is! It's not really sand, but pumice. The crew of the Maiken were lucky enough to see an island being formed by volcanic activity. This occurred just off Tonga.
