Congratulations to Markulous on winning the final competition of 2009 and Wild Canon on winning the overall competition for the year!

As you know, this was Jamie's last month running the competition so a huge thank you to him from everyone at the forum. He's run the competition brilliantly and I'm sure you'll agree it's been a big success.

There will be no January competition this year but hopefully we should have something sorted for February.

2009 Photographic Competition Infomation

Well, here we go again folks! Another fantastic year of photography is just over the horizon.

The categories for the months have been decided. They are as follows:

January - Wildlife in Captivity
February - Wildlife in Public
March - Pets
April - Wild Flowers
May - Creepy Crawlies
June - Trees and Shubs
July - Sunrise/Sunsets
August - Birds of Prey
September - Exotic Wildlife
October - Mammals
November - Nature Reserve Photography
December - Wildife in Forsty Conditions

Here is a re-cap of the rules and infomation of the monthly competition:
This is a monthly photo competition, with each month having a set category. During the final week of the month, a voting thread will be put up so you can vote for your favourite images.
Unfortunately the winner will not receive any prizes, because it is just a bit of fun.
The winner will be mentioned and congratulated by Xeract on the homepage. On your thread,you could give a name for your image, and if possible, include photography information, such as ISO, shutter speed etc. A new thread will be created for each month, so please be sure to enter in the right one!

IMPORTANT!! You can only enter ONE image a month!

If you have any further questions, then please contact me by personal message, and I will try our best to answer your question.

!!!!!THE COMPETITION DEADLINE FOR THIS MONTH IS 24/1/2009!!!!!!
